16 Amberwood Loop Wins Best Craftsmanship, Best Master Suite at Haciendas 2017
We are pleased to announce that our 2017 Haciendas – A Parade of Homes tour entry, 16 Amberwood Loop, received the 2017 awards for Best Crafstmanship and Best Master Suite! Woods has won an unprecedented 9 Best Craftsmanship awards. This is one of the most coveted awards because it reflects how our peers, and those in the construction and design industries, judge our workmanship, quality of construction and attention to detail.
16 Amberwood Drive is the epitome of lakeside luxury. Overlooking the lake at Jack Nicklaus Signature Sunrise course, Hole No. 4 in Las Campanas, this classic Territorial-style residence embodies all of the elegant style Woods Design Builders is known for; from beautiful, reclaimed terra-cotta, antique doors, and an antique limestone fireplace surround, to divided light windows, white oak flooring, and a custom beeswax finish on the walls.
The kitchen, finished with custom cabinetry and Taj Mahal granite countertops and adorned with a lovely Tabarka tile backsplash, captures beautiful views of the lake. There is ample outdoor living space–three portales totaling 1,300 square feet, including a private portal off the master suite. Haciendas – A Parade of Homes in Santa Fe, presented by the Santa Fe Area Home Builders Association, is one of the nation’s most recognized parade of homes spread over two long weekends in mid-August every year. Visitors from all over the world travel to this event to experience Santa Fe’s famed historic architecture showcasing indigenous materials and local craftsmanship.
In 2016, we received awards for Best Craftsmanship for our construction on 1133 East Alameda and 2216 Wilderness Arroyo. 1133 East Alameda was also recognized for Best Historic Remodel.
